Ms. Martin brings a unique combination of experience and skills that make her a wonderful match for this role. After three years as an Associate Director, she is now starting her fourth year as the Director of Admission, Access, and Inclusion at Foxcroft, where she will continue to contribute to the school's efforts in increasing diversity, enhancing an equitable admissions process, and fostering an inclusive community. Prior to her role at Foxcroft, Ms. Martin was a College Counselor with Democracy Prep Charter Schools in Camden, NJ. In her work, she guided first-generation and low-income high school students in the college process, partnering with support networks and families for success.
Ms. Martin is no stranger to the transformative experience of all-girls education. Before her position at Democracy Prep, she was a Senior Admissions Counselor at Salem College, an all-women’s college and her alma mater. She traveled extensively for recruitment, cultivated relationships with access organizations, and developed a first-generation student orientation program among many other responsibilities. As a student at Salem College, she earned a B.A. in Sociology and a B.A. in Women’s Studies with an Advocacy concentration.
Ms. Martin and her fiancé Dylan are excited to continue their journey at Foxcroft, and she is looking forward to building even stronger relationships with families and further enhancing the school's culture and community.
Michelle Woodruff is the Director of Athletics and the Head Field Hockey Coach at Foxcroft School. She is a four-time Conference Coach of the Year and has over 20 years of experience in independent school education and athletics. She holds a bachelor’s degree from the College of William and Mary. Outside of work she enjoys tennis, travel, and spending time with family and friends.
